Hello everyone.

Hello everyone. I'm Taghrid, I have been teaching English for more than 17 years. I hold a master degree in applied linguistics /education college. I teach English as a foreign language in a language center in Sanaa, Yemen. My students are adults who want to study English to get better chances in their work or to continue their high studies. I very happy and honored to join this course.

  5. Hi Elena, it is my pleasure and honor to meet you and all ELT teachers and educators around the world. Yes, you are right . There are some challenges we face about teaching English in Yemen due to the active war, fortunately we do our best to keep working and motivating our students to learn and improve their skills in English language. Similar to you, I am also fascinated by different culture and I really llove to visit Greece one day. Have a great time in this course and in your new academic year in your school.

  6. Taghrid, thank you for your kind words! I admire your strength and determination to be teaching in such circumstances! I hope the insanity of war to stop soon and peace be the only norm. I believe only through education we can make it happen, by breathing awareness to people, teaching them to think with an open mind without borders and limitations. It'd be nice us to meet in Greece one day!!! ☺
