Hello everyone

Hello everyone,

I'm from Poland, but I've been living and working in Greece for the last 17 years. I teach all age groups, but I especially love working with very young learners and I do a lot of storytelling (not only in class. I also volunteer at various events and at my local library). I made a slight switch in my career last year when I reduced teaching hours and I took up a full time position as a writer at an ELT publishing house here in Greece.
I have plenty of ideas I would like to develop, and this is the second time I'm taking this course. This time, I will focus on a small project to make sure I finalise it by the end of the course.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to attend live sessions, as they are scheduled 6 am Greek time, but we will get a chance to get to know each other better in this community (and I can already see some familiar names :)) and I'm really looking forward to it :)

  1. Ha, I wouldn't get up at 6:00 am either! Not to worry, the recordings will work fine. And good idea for tackling a smaller project. You can apply what you learned to longer ones later. Congrats on the new job, too!

  6. Wilma Luth Good to see you too! I'm really determined and that's why I picked a smaller project this time. Good luck to both of us, and to everyone on the course :)

  8. Laura Perrotta I disappeared for a few days due to work and other obligations, but I'm back! And I will get in touch with you about my story, as I'll definitely need some opinions. But I'll let Dorothy approve it first (hopefully). For now, I uploaded my homework just a few minutes ago, so you can get an idea of what I'm planning to work on. I'll read about your project in the Homework section and we'll be in touch!

Hi all! I'm happy to report that my health is much improved. Thank goodness! Ain't nobody got time for being ill.

It´s me again! I got enthusiastic and did almost the whole book. There are two or three pictures missing.
