Hi everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm Laura Perrotta from Argentina. I'm a teacher. I run two private English schools in my city. I love teaching young learners, that's where I feel comfortable. I'm doing an MA at the moment. Last module was about ELT Materials. I have started presenting in different places as a speaker. I also did Katherine's course last month. I had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy last July in Brazil. She was soooooo generous. I'd love to publish a book for young learners or/and one for YL teachers. I want to open doors to the world because the financial situation in Argentina is not easy. Eager to learn and do! I'm active and pro-active! Have a wonderful day!

    Hi Laura, we didn't get to interact much on Katherine's course - I hope we get more opportunities to share feedback this time around. I don't work with YLs at all so I'd be first in line for that book for YL teachers.

    financial situation... NOT EASY... write a book. I have been living and teaching in South Korea for the past 16 years. When my first son was born, 4.5 years ago, I was struck with the fear that my family's financial security was tied to my job. If something happened to me, my whole family would pay the price. And so, 4 years ago, I dug out my dream of creating my own material and decided to commit to it and the journey of making it work.

Hello everyone, Almost everything has been finalised in my story. Only the info about the creators (Author and illustrator) is missing and I need to have a professional picture taken of me and my daughter, Evita (the illustrator), but I won't have the pic until mid November :(. Re the font type - I used Arial. Should I change to Times New Roman? I hope you can find a few minutes to write a comment on this almost-final draft of my story. Hi all! I'm happy to report that my health is much improved. Thank goodness! Ain't nobody got time for being ill. So ... where is everybody? I know I extended the deadlines out to the end of October for people on the accomplishment track and the end of November for those working towards the distinction certificate... let's see some finished projects! :) Could the distinction people email me theirs separately? Either a .mobi or an .epub is fine. zemach@comcast.net is probably best. For the others, why not post here, and we can all give some congratulations and feedback? (Distinction people welcome to post theirs here as well, of course!)

I'd love to know your opinion about: *the whole thing, of course! *the two covers- do you like them? Which one most? *the font- is it clear? big enough? *the last page- is it clear that lights are off? *the line in the middle of some pages to separate different situations- any other idea? *the dialogues- is it clear enough who is talking? If Fluffy or his Mum? *any language mistake?
