I made an epub file.

I made an epub file.
It wasn't on communicative functions... like I mentioned in my homework 1 and 2.
Instead, I am making a digital textbook for my Level 1 Target Language Course.
I am not done... but here is a version one.

It is in epub format.
I designed it using Pages for apple.

One advantage to this format is that it maintains high resolution.
My website can't maintain the same quality because of file size.
That is one clear advantage of this format.
I watched the replay of the video and have found that many of the strategies talked about were the ones I have been leanring to use in my styles format and quite similar to page builders on websites.

    That opened fine on my Mac with the iBooks reader. It's already a pretty huge file, though... how many pages total were you thinking? .mobis are also much larger than .epubs (which is only an issue if you want to sell, I suppose). We'll have some info in this upcoming session though on how to get image file size down.

    Can you also post your work in a way that people can comment on it?

    Great art. How did you make/get that?

    Ah, one more thing... it's not standard ebook size. Don't know if there's any way to adjust that? See screenshot from my iBooks app...

Hi all! I'm happy to report that my health is much improved. Thank goodness! Ain't nobody got time for being ill. So ... where is everybody? I know I extended the deadlines out to the end of October for people on the accomplishment track and the end of November for those working towards the distinction certificate... let's see some finished projects! :) Could the distinction people email me theirs separately? Either a .mobi or an .epub is fine. zemach@comcast.net is probably best. For the others, why not post here, and we can all give some congratulations and feedback? (Distinction people welcome to post theirs here as well, of course!)

I'd love to know your opinion about: *the whole thing, of course! *the two covers- do you like them? Which one most? *the font- is it clear? big enough? *the last page- is it clear that lights are off? *the line in the middle of some pages to separate different situations- any other idea? *the dialogues- is it clear enough who is talking?
