This one is on something that would be easier to produce in the time:
Homework #1 Should it be done?
- Who would read/use my material?
People who read/have read my website and commented on it (a very small, niche audience!)
- Why? What would they gain from it?
Updated, revised content from my blog
- What are they currently using or reading instead?
Other blogs, other self-pubbed ELT people's books
- Why do I think my material (or idea) is good?
I think some of my reflections/lesson plans have been relatively popular among my blog readers

Homework #2 Can it be done?
- What will the final product look like—text? images? size? format? length?
Probably more like a pamphlet-length thing, rather than a book
- How much have I already written? How much is left to do?
Original blogs are already written, but these probably need to be updated a bit
- How much of the thinking/planning have I already done? How much is left to do?
Need to think how to group blog posts so they make a coherent whole
- When do I plan to write?
I'll copy these to a Word doc and edit these.

  1. I like the idea of grouping. A blog is organized chronologically, but an ebook frees you from that. I think readers find it helpful to have shorter texts organized by topic.

I also love the idea of blog posts gathered into a book. Keeps content from just getting washed away by time.

  2. This sounds really interesting. What's the theme of your blog and/or the posts that you're thinking of putting together? I have seen advice for bloggers to add some "bonus" material to this kind of blog post compilation. (Not that I want to add to your workload for this project.)

  3. I have always felt that reusing content lets you focus more on the messaging and not the content. Great for getting more eyes on your work.

Hello everyone

Hi all! I'm happy to report that my health is much improved. Thank goodness! Ain't nobody got time for being ill.

It´s me again! I got enthusiastic and did almost the whole book. There are two or three pictures missing.
