Hello All, I have posted my cover for my new ebook because I have changed my topic with Dorothy's permission, of course. My new topic is improving writing skills by expanding types of journaling tasks. It is much better suited to a short ebook and will appeal to a much wider audience. I really liked the picture and color so I re-worded my first cover. I am writing my first two chapters now and should have that completed by tomorrow night, I will post it when done. I welcome comments on my cover and new topic!

Hi Debbie Kellermann!!! I like it!!! What about writing the "how to" in the middle?
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that. Does the cover image still fit the contents? Before you had a spiderweb metaphor inside, towards the beginning, which I thought this cover was good for. If that's no longer the case, you might want to swap out the image... so there's something that has to do with writing somehow. That said... it's a nice image on its own, so could be fine anyway.
ReplyDeleteDorothy Zemach Hi Dorothy, Yes I am still using the metaphor of a spider web to "build and scaffold" writing skills for ELL students! I am also using spider webs and scaffolding within the text as visuals. They all have to be jpegs correct?
ReplyDeleteLaura Perrotta Hi Laura. Thank you for the compliment! and feedback. I worked hard and made it using Canva. Actually, I tried it in the middle before, but Dorothy suggested I move it to the border.
