Hello everyone, Almost everything has been finalised in my story. Only the info about the creators (Author and illustrator) is missing and I need to have a professional picture taken of me and my daughter, Evita (the illustrator), but I won't have the pic until mid November :(. Re the font type - I used Arial. Should I change to Times New Roman? I hope you can find a few minutes to write a comment on this almost-final draft of my story. I have a question: as you know Evita has done the illustrations, but the background was a bit greyish. I asked a graphic designer friend of mine to whiten the background for me and to do a few minor tweaks. I would like to ask her in the future to help me with the next books in the series, too. This is the second ( and I would say completely different version). I thought about changing the subtitle in Italian but in the end I left it in English: this is a manual for families for helping their children learn English so.... some kind of effort is expected and required!:-)

Hello! After many days of struggling, and thinking, and struggling and thinking I came up with an idea that I like and I actually think I am going to be working on. So this morning ( It's Sunday here now:-) I woke up early and I started giving a shape to an idea that had been in my mind all night long ( yes, I could not sleep but sometimes sleepless nights have a positive outcome). So the idea is this: I teach English to primary school children and I teach them three hours a week. We all know that three hours a week is not enough, especially if we are teaching to groups of 20-25 children and some of those children have difficulties or learning disabilities. How can we involve our families and try to engage them and stimulate them into using English at home in simple daily activities or using simple stories or playing simple games? I'd love to know your opinion about: *the whole thing, of course! *the two covers- do you like them? Which one most? *the font- is it clear? big enough? *the last page- is it clear that lights are off? *the line in the middle of some pages to separate different situations- any other idea? *the dialogues- is it clear enough who is talking? Hello All, I have posted my cover for my new ebook because I have changed my topic with Dorothy's permission, of course. My new topic is improving writing skills by expanding types of journaling tasks. It is much better suited to a short ebook and will appeal to a much wider audience. I really liked the picture and color so I re-worded my first cover. I am writing my first two chapters now and should have that completed by tomorrow night, I will post it when done. I did go back into the Amazon listing and choose better categories, and added some more key words (netiquette! How could I have forgotten netiquette?). I got the paperback cover from my designer and did that as well, and then did the ebook listings with Draft2Digital, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords.
